Our Home Country Is Where the Hatred Lives

James Baldwin, Civil Rights activist – “We can disagree and still love each other unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist.”

Martin Luther King Jr., Civil Rights activist – “We must face the hard fact that many Americans like to have a nation which is a democracy for White Americans, but simultaneously a dictatorship for Black Americans”

Joy Reid, MSNBC news anchor – “White Americans aren’t afraid of the cops even when they are committing insurrections. Even when they’re engaged in attempting to occupy our Capitol to steal the votes from people who look like me. Because in their minds, they own this country. They own the Capitol. They own the cops. The cops work for them. People like me have no damn right to try to elect a President. I guarantee you if that was a BLM protest in DC, they would already be people shackled, arrested, or dead.”

Chris Cuomo, CNN news anchor – “What if these Senators do choose to acquit? What will that mean? Well first, it will mean they are inviting more of this violence. They will necessarily be seen as validating that violence, glorifying that violence if they vote to acquit. Why? Because Trump will take it as a victory. So will the Proud Boys and other extremists, racists, and lie-fed mobs. If you, after what you were shown today (2/10/21) on trial, on Day 2, will be a giant middle finger to the men and women who saved you that day. We saw that day more than ever, how they were fighting for you and their lives. They were beaten, maimed, they died for you, and you will be saying with your vote that doesn’t matter enough for you to risk political clout with the people who attacked them”

Years ago, back in the early 1970s when I was 17, about 2 months after I graduated from high school, I was hired by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Going out into the real world, my mom enlightened me that when I deal with evil-ass racist White folks, if they can’t rule, they will ruin. She also schooled me on the fact that racist White folks, who you know do not like each other, not to be fooled by the fact that they will team up and collaborate just to prevent a Black person from getting ahead. My mom was voracious when it came to those facts. Down through the decades, as I became older, I realized what my mother told me was ABSOLUTELY true. As I look back, I am sure she would have rather I went to college, but I wanted to be grown and be in the business world. From time to time, when I think of my late mother, I always think of that 1980s era dance song from the British singer, Junior. titled “Momma Used to Say.”

One of the major obstacles that the USA faces is, amongst millions of its poor and middle financial class White citizenry, they have been spoon-fed to think that they are superior to people of color, LGBTQs, and other marginalized groups, even if those groups are financially better off than them.

This kind of superior thinking is far from new. Back in the mid-1960s, the late President Lyndon B. Johnson was famous for his explanation of that phenomenon from his popular quote, “Hell, give him (poor/middle financial class Whites) somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.” This all started because Southern Democrat politicians, known as Dixiecrats, were angry with President Johnson for signing the Civil Rights Voting Act of 1965, giving Black Americans full citizenship rights, and the right to vote in all 50 states. These Dixiecrats resigned from the Democrat Party and joined the Republican Party on steroids. Their exodus from the Democrat Party began when President Truman integrated the military, but what President Johnson did, pushed them over the edge.

For millions of Progressive-minded Whites, you have your work cut out for you. You need to check your racist and bigoted ilk regarding their mayhem and foolishness.

American Apartheid Whites: Your little gaslighting games are over. You know exactly what you are doing. You are not stupid, just evil, selfish, and feel entitled. You are EXACTLY like your ancestors who invaded these shores. Those evil, greedy, murderous, faux Christian invaders are your crew. That is why you romanticize the Civil War so much. My mother was absolutely correct. What you can’t rule, you will ruin. Whites will soon be a minority in this country. Why are you so frightened? You act like Non-Whites, LGBTQs, Muslims, Jews, etc… are treated unfairly in the USA? What are you so afraid of?
