NOT ALL SKIN FOLK ARE KINFOLK
“From colleges to corporations, to our culture, people are making money and gaining power by pretending we haven’t made any progress at all, by doubling down on the divisions we worked so hard to heal. You know this stuff is wrong. Hear me clearly. America is not a racist country. I am an African American who voted in the south my entire life. I take voting rights personally. Republicans support making it easier to vote, and harder to cheat.”
Senator Tim Scott
April 28th, 2021
Boy, Bye. Nothing creeps me out more than Non-White Republican sambo sell-outs like Tim Scott and LGBTQ sambo sell-outs like Log Cabin Republicans.
Let’s get one thing clear. People of color, LGBTQs, and other marginalized groups are not monolithic in their thinking. I have no problem with a difference in opinion on policies that would make the USA a stronger, more equal country for ALL and not just for some. But when hookers like Senator Tim Scott, support policies that make people of color, LGBTQs, and other marginalized groups 2nd class, then we have a problem.
Senator Scott is very much aware of the GOP trying to suppress the vote for people of color and other marginalized groups they don’t care for. Money and power are more important to him. That is why he is working overtime trying to get racist/bigoted MAGA White Conservatives to feel more comfortable around him, and that the comments he made in April
2021 was nothing but a hustle to try to prove to his White GOP ilk that he is not one of those Black people.
According to writer Alex Isenstadt of Politico, Scott is making big bank from GOP megadonors building momentum for a 2024 run if he so chooses.
I am in total agreement with MSNBC news anchor Tiffany Cross when she said she does not believe Republicans are trying to make a real effort to get Black people attracted to the GOP. Like her, I believe they find people who Conservative White people don’t feel threaten from and parade them out.
According to one Black Republican, I have respect for, former RNC Chairman Michael Steele, he spilled the tea on the GOPs’ shadiness. Steele exclaimed, “It has been a struggle well over 40 years, in this space to approach making this ‘outreach’, a term I heard when I was Chairman I banned because it meant nothing. The ‘outreach’ was just photo-ops and good cocktail sausages. I said to the party leadership when I was Chair was ‘Don’t look at me as some pied piper that now you have a Black man as Chair, all these Black folks are going to show up. You got to do the work, and that work begins with spending time in the community to understand what makes us mad, what makes us happy, what are we fearing, what we have concerns about, what are the issues that are driving Black culture. Don’t say you guys go to church on Sunday so you must be Conservative and therefore you must be pro-life.’ It is much more complicated in nuance. But the GOP wanted the easy fix, so to the extent, they can get folks and say certain things. That’s good, but notice when you put the metal to the pedal and get the work done, things slow up, they fall apart. All of a sudden, people aren’t so sure, it will take some time. So you’re not serious.”
GOP sambos like Tim Scott and California governor candidates Caitlyn Jenner and Larry Elder are being used as long as they are of some use. Those silly ass tricks better recognize the shady ass way former RNC Chair Michael Steele was used, and the fact that that bozo the late GOP Presidential candidate Herman Cain lost his life to COVID by listening to the Republican silliness and going around without a mask and not practicing social distancing.
When the GOP is through using those three stooges, they will toss Scott, Jenner, and Elder aside like some used Kleenex.
